Class is in Session!

At 10am on Sunday, October 12th, the Adult Sunday School class at Monaca UMC will be starting a new study on Rev. John Ortberg’s book, If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat. Out on the risky waters of faith, Jesus is waiting to meet you in ways that will change your forever, deepening your character and your trust in God.

This six-week study will run each Sunday through November 16th. Patty Davidson is leading the discussion.

Then, on Sundays from November 23rd through December 14th, rediscover the “improbable” story of Christmas as we explore Andy Stanley’s four-week study, Who Needs Christmas.

Each study is formatted to begin with a video followed by a group discussion. Before diving into the study, we typically warm up with questions on the prior week’s church sermon. And there are always baked goodies and coffee to enjoy! Join us!
