Bowling: Fun for Adults and Youth
The 2025-2026 season for Monaca UMC’s Bowling League ended in fierce competition. The first-place team from the first half of the season, the Wiley Coyotes, vied against the first-place team from the second half of the season, the Bullwinkles, in the Championship Roll-Off held on April 14th at Baden Bowl.
The Bullwinkles emerged victorious after their hot streak couldn’t be cooled.

Our Season Champions (l-r): Mike McCullough, Colleen Stobart, John Stobart (captain), and John Lovra

Our Runners Up (l-r): Denny Houser, Gale Hale, Jimmy Miller (captain), and Linda Hill

The Bullwinkles’ win will be immortalized on our current league plaque. Look for our plaques from seasons past at the back of our church sanctuary!

Many thanks to our league officers (pictured, l-r: Mike McCullough, Deb Croyle, Betsylynn Majzlik) for organizing our bowling league each year!
Congratulations to all of our bowlers on another great season, and especially to this year’s top teams!
The adults weren’t the only ones who enjoyed bowling last month. Monaca UMC’s Youth Group had a bowling party at Monaca Turners for their April meeting.

By the end of the night, the adults were asking: Did the kids have more fun bowling or taking photos to go with their player names on the high-tech scoreboards?

The kids are already talking about the next bowling outing!
In the meantime, the next Youth Group meeting will be in the Carey Community Center at Monaca UMC from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, May 6th. Dinner will be provided.
If you are interested in bowling with Monaca UMC next year, contact a league officer or contact us here.
