Eves’ “Trivia!” Event a Success

Methodists and friends put their general knowledge to the test on Saturday, April 18th, when the Eves Women’s Group of Monaca and Aliquippa First UMCs hosted its 2nd annual Trivia! event.

It was an afternoon of good food, laughter, and trying to recall obscure facts from the brain’s deepest recesses. The event also supported a good cause, as all proceeds were donated to the Beaver County Humane Society.

Congratulations to Dave and Nancy Wilson’s team, which is now undefeated. Thanks to everyone who participated and/or helped with the event in any way, with special thanks to Curt Collins for serving as quizmaster, and to Katie Floyd and Kristen Sands, whose assistance was anything but trivial.

Jennifer Hamner and Kathy Glovier were members of Team PJs, which landed in 2nd place at the April 18th event.

Women are invited to join the Eves at any time. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. The May 6th meeting will be held at Aliquippa First UMC.
