Stamp Out Hunger
Once again, the letter carriers of the Monaca Post Office are supporting local food pantries like ours by participating in the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive!
On Saturday, May 10th, Monaca residents are asked to put out food for donation where their mail is delivered, so that letter carriers can pick up the donations when delivering mail on their route. This campaign will be a welcome boost to our monthly food drives!
Sorting all the food received and getting it ready to be distributed back into the community will require help from a lot of volunteers! If you are available to help on May 10th, please contact us or just show up! We estimate that volunteers will be needed from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
It’s “Miscellaneous May!”
Thanks to everyone who has been participating in our monthly food drives! We hope you have been enjoying each month’s themes. Anything goes this month for “Miscellaneous May!” Please pick up extra of whatever looks good to you while you are grocery shopping to donate. A list of our most-needed items is available on the Welcome Table in the church lobby.
