Healing Service Scheduled

¹³ Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. ¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

James 5:13-15

On Saturday, April 9th, from 4pm-5pm, Monaca UMC is offering a special service for healing and anointing with oil as part of our monthly Refresh & Recharge hour!

A service of healing is not necessarily a service of curing. Instead it opens the door to the greatest healing that can happen: reconciliation with God. Through this reconciliation, not only is spiritual health enhanced, participants may receive the healing of the physical body and the restoration of mental and emotional balance.

The primary focus of MUMC’s Refresh & Recharge ministry is spiritual renewal, and this service offers another way to achieve that renewal.

So, come as you are, hear God’s Word in Scripture and song, and be anointed with oil for healing!
