Join us for Harvest Sunday
On Sunday, October 19th, Monaca UMC will hold its 2nd annual Harvest Sunday celebration! Please bring in your food pantry donations on or before October 19th to be a part of the celebration!
We are currently emphasizing items needed for our November food pantry distribution—our biggest distribution of the year—where we provide our patrons with everything they need to prepare a Thanksgiving feast!
The following items are most needed for this distribution:
- Boxed stuffing
- Cranberry sauce
- Canned yams
- Turkey gravy
- Pie crust mix
- Evaporated milk
(No canned pumpkin is needed.)
Monetary donations are also needed for the purchase of turkey breasts, frozen vegetables, potatoes, and whipped cream. Please mark donations “Food Pantry.”
In addition to the foods for Thanksgiving, our pantry is low on cereal, canned fruit, canned chicken, and peanut butter.
Anything you can contribute towards this ministry will be greatly appreciated!
