Coffee Mugs & Kids Club Celebrates First Year
On January 18, 2025, the first “Coffee Mugs & Kids Club” event was held in the Carey Community Center at Monaca UMC. The kids heard the story of Noah’s Ark and made crafts based on the story, while moms and friends sat down to coffee and conversation.
Since that time, these gatherings have continued on a monthly basis with a different biblical theme each month. Saturday, December 13th will mark the completion of the ministry’s first year!

Special thanks to Tina Allen and Roberta Houser for coordinating the event each month. Additional thanks go to Vera Lovewell for her support and effort in getting this ministry underway and to the parents, grandparents, kids, and friends who attend. It is nice to have such a great group of participants each month!
