Monaca UMC to Host Conference-wide Training

The work of church trustees is more than completing a checklist from the United Methodist Church’s Book of Discipline. This special ministry is a calling that is foundational to all of the ministries of the church.

Because of this ministry’s significance, it is important that all trustees are informed of property use guidelines, insurance needs, and new forms and requirements. The Western PA UMC Conference Board of Trustees is providing such a training with opportunities to attend in January and February at a variety of locations.

Monaca UMC is pleased to serve as the host for the training that is scheduled for Thursday, February 20th. The local church trustee portion of this training will be provided from 4pm-6pm.
