New Pastor Named

Bishop Sandra Steiner Ball has appointed Rev. Rob Hernan to serve Jesus at Monaca UMC and our sister church, Aliquippa First UMC, effective July 1, 2026.

Rev. Rob will be coming from his most recent appointment, College Avenue UMC, located directly across the river from Monaca UMC in Beaver.

Your continued prayers will be appreciated over the next several weeks as the Sands and Hernan families and all of the affected congregations prepare for this change.

Pastor Jim’s last Sunday preaching at Monaca UMC is expected to be Sunday, June 28th.

Rev. Rob’s first Sunday preaching at Monaca UMC is expected to be Sunday, July 5th.
