New Women’s Group Gets Hoppin’

Sock Hop Scheduled for October 19th

A new women’s ministry group has formed, serving women from both Aliquippa First and Monaca UMCs, and this group has hit the ground running!

At its first official meeting, which was held in August, these service-minded women decided to sponsor a sock hop on Saturday, October 19th at 6pm for anyone who enjoys music from the ’50s and ’60s.

Admission is a pair of new socks (original packaging/tags), which will be distributed to area shelters.

There will be prizes for the best outfits, and it’s rumored that a limbo contest will take place.

So dust off those poodle skirts and leather jackets, and join us for some fun!
