Tea’s On, Ladies!

Tickets are now available for Monaca UMC’s 3rd annual Ladies Tea, scheduled for Saturday, May 16th.

We have a special program in store for everyone in attendance. Dee Ruckert of Pastel Presentations will perform a “chalk talk,” completing a picture that evolves in 30 minutes or less—right before your eyes!

Dee’s presentations have become a favorite in Beaver County and the surrounding region, as she has performed at a variety of churches, nursing homes, schools, festivals, and women’s groups since 2007.

During her presentation, she uses large sticks of pastel chalk to complete a picture on a lighted easel. The picture evolves quickly against a soundtrack of music or a narrated story. Towards the end of her presentation, Dee dims and changes the lights, creating different effects on the drawing.

A retired art teacher, Dee loves using her God-given talents to inspire others. Dee is also a cake decorator and pysanky egg artist.

In addition to the program, each $15 ticket includes lunch, dessert, and of course, a variety of teas! You won’t want to miss this creative feast for the senses! Get your tickets today!
