Thank You, Mike!

After serving as Council Chair of Monaca UMC for more than 15 years, Mike McCullough is retiring from the position. Mike has led the church through numerous changes, always with sound reason and integrity. If you see or talk to Mike in the coming weeks, be sure to thank him for his service and leadership through the years!

Since November 19th was Mike’s last time chairing a council meeting, his fellow council members took the opportunity to thank him with a delicious cake, a round of “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow,” and plenty of well wishes and prayers.

At this same council meeting, Clay Beringer III graciously accepted the nomination to fill the position of chairperson beginning January 1st. Clay has been involved in church leadership for decades and is sure to do an excellent job in this position.
