Help Ukrainian Refugees

According to the United Nations, approximately 3 million people have fled Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s invasion last month. Nearly 2/3 of those Ukrainians – 1.8 million – are now in Poland.

Through the coordination of Kate Senior, a junior Education major at St. Vincent College, Monaca UMC is helping the college’s efforts to secure supplies to help Ukrainian refugees. If you would like to participate, please contribute any of the needed items (find list below) at the church before or immediately after worship on Sunday, March 20th (that’s approximately 10:00am-12:15pm).

The items collected at Monaca UMC will be taken by Kate on the 20th to St. Vincent College to be packed and shipped to Poland. Shipping is being generously provided by Teknika Interpack Systems.

Please only contribute brand new, unused items* from the list below:

  • Toys
  • Coloring Books
  • Crayons
  • School supplies
  • Children’s clothing (new or gently used)

We thank you for your prayers, love, care, and generosity towards the people of Ukraine.
