Youth Group Underway

As Monaca UMC grows, the Executive Council decided it was time to revitalize the church youth group. The first youth group meeting was held on Wednesday, January 7th with an “open gym” and pizza party.

The youth and adults played games like basketball, musical chairs (the adults were eliminated early), and red light/green light.

Over pizza, the group talked about what types of outings and activities the youth group could do in the future.

Thanks to all of the youth and parents for participating and to our January volunteers (Dennis Bloom, Deb Croyle, Patty Davidson, and Mike McCullough) for supplying the food and drinks and for helping out! Thanks also to Pastor Jim for stopping in and showing his support.

The February meeting has been cancelled due to weather, but we expect to be back in March!
